Broad spectrum antibiotics. Effective in gram positive and gram negitive bacteria. Mainly used in the infections such sa pyocyanic, staphylococcic and colibcillus.
They have a cell wall which protects the bacteria, determines whether they are gram positive or gram negative bacteria and also helps maintain their shape.
When doing a Gram stain, Clostridium tetani stains purple— or gram positive— and it's a bacillus, meaning that it looks like a big cylinder or rod under the microscope.
