Abstract : Microwave-assisted chemical functionalization of single-walled carbon nanotubes, with undecyl groups decomposed from lauroyl peroxides was reported.
Results Forty-seven components were identified and Caryophyllene oxide, Spathulenol, Cyclododecane and Dodecanoic acid were found to be the major components of the essential oils.
Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate was prepared. Preperties of the above product was determined. The result shows that the product is a N acylamino acid surfactant with good properties.
Lauricidin and its preparation with sorbic acid (Lauribic) for preservation of fruits are tested and their antibiotic activity on oranges, pears and apples is determined by round filter paper method.
