Where could our Master go that he should not have an opportunity of learning them?

夫子焉不学？

Tsze-kung said, " Master, that is what you yourself say."

“夫子自道也。”

" 夫子，律法上的诫命，哪一条是最大的呢？"

Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet.

我是你们的主，你们的夫子，尚且洗你们的脚，你们也当彼此洗脚。

Someone in the crowd said to him, " Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me" .

众人中有一个人对耶稣说：" 夫子，请你吩咐我的兄长和我分开家业。"

A certain ruler asked him, " Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life" ?

有一个官问耶稣说：" 良善的夫子，我该作什么事才可以承受永生？"

19 Then a teacher of the law came to him and said, " Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go."

19 有一个文士来、对他说、夫子、你无论往那里去、我要跟从你。

Our Master cannot be attained to, just in the same way as the heavens cannot be gone up by the steps of a stair.

夫子之不可及也，犹天之不可阶而升也。

又有税吏来要受洗，问他说：" 夫子，我们当作什么呢？"

一打听，很快就知道萧让住在衙门东侧夫子庙附近。

They had just passed the Confucius Temple when Xiao Rang pointed to a man approaching and said he was Jian Dajian.

刚经过夫子庙，萧让指着走过来的一个人说，他是简大建。

有几个文士说：" 夫子，你说得好！"
