The large mansion on the northern edge of the property, and Alexander spent much of his childhood in the area, playing on the beach near Eyemouth or fishing in the streams nearby.
On the other side of where I'm standing is the suburb of Annandale (ph) where a number of properties, as you can see, are completely inundated on the ground floor.
In many other cases, their children do inherit these properties, but they've already migrated to the city, and they don't have the resources to repair them or to pay property taxes.
And they add, " it's not fair or legal that some renters are allowed to live on someone else's property for free, while the property owner is forced to pay the taxes, insurance, and maintenance on the home" .
I think when they start going back to these properties and certainly businesses that haven't got pest control contracts in -- in -- involved, they might find themselves going to have a big surprise.
Renters will benefit from stronger security of tenure and better value, while landlords will benefit from reforms to provide certainty that they can regain their properties when needed.
