" Oppenheimer" will be drawing inspiration from a Pulitzer Prize-winning book, " American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer" by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin.
" Oppenheimer, " somebody had been interested in a long time, didn't know that much about the specifics of his story, then came to the book " American Prometheus" and that absolutely got me hooked.
We can make a case for Prometheus, who gives people fire, as a kind of sage and maybe we can read the biblical story of Jesus as a combination of savior and sage; just two great tastes that taste great together.
Except Prometheus had warned his son, who built a chest and filled it with provisions, and then spent the next nine days and nine nights in the chest with Pyrrha.
Unfortunately, only a handful of feature films (including " The Amazing Spider-Man" , " Prometheus" and " The Hobbit" ) have been shot with 4K-capable cameras.
In my view, Oppenheimer is not really a historical drama, but more of a Promethean horror about the human soul being punished for having stolen fire from the Gods.
Sometimes they were used in reenactments of ancient myths and stories where the character would be attacked by animals, like Prometheus, or flung to their death, like Icarus.
It indicates a spontaneous, Promethean rebelliousness against that fiat that this recurrent season shall bring foul times, cold darkness, misery and death.
