It seems very strange to say that the religions exist almost on irreligious things, or it will be better to say, on anti-religious things.They use those things, but on the surface you don't see that.
As is vividly depicted in the cartoon, people in mounting numbers are doing something, which seems to be humorous and ridiculous but thoughtprovoking on second thoughts.
It is a grotesque misapprehension which sees in art no more than a craft comprehensible perfectly only to the craftsman: art is a manifestation of emotion, and emotion speaks a language that all may understand.
