It allows us to see where a patient over pronate or supinate so that we can correct their abnormal biomechanics accurately by applying foot orthoses effectively.
But the good news is that we can heal most of the neck pain, and the plantar fasciitis, and the repetitive stress injuries, and the back pain that we suffer.
The problem is, again, we tend to carry too much weight and we don't have the mechanics that allow those less-supportive shoes to not create things like heel spurs and plantar fasciitis.
