The Dhamma Sakyamuni Caves Monastery is located in Gunung Kanthan, one of the last remaining limestone hills in the Kinta Valley National Geopark.

Legend has it that after Sakyamuni left secular life to become a monk, he meditated so deeply that he often forgot to eat.
