At least four people have been killed in Sudan by the security forces during protests in the city of Omdurman, Khartoum's twin city, against October's coup.
The Sudanese health authorities say that 34 people, including children, have been killed by what they describe as random shelling of a market in the city of Omdurman.
Late last week, though, the Sudanese army claimed its first major advance in 10 months taking back part of the city of Omdurman, but the RSF has disputed those claims.
Doctors Without Borders said the attack took place in the city of Omdurman, just next to the capital of Khartoum, on Thursday, but did not say which of the country's warring parties was responsible.
