Micrococcal nuclease treatment indicates that the remodeling of the demembranated sperm chromatin has occurred and the structure of nucleosome is formed during nuclear reconstitution.
It usually involves several genetic mutations in endometrial cells, including of PTEN, a tumor suppressor gene; PIK3CA, an oncogene; and ARID1A, a gene regulating chromatin structure.
These machines are called chromatin remodelers, and the way they work is that they basically scoot the DNA around these histones and they allow new pieces of DNA to become exposed.
