If you make the stroke of the crankshaft longer, you'll get more torque.

Within each of these cylinders is a piston, which moves up and down, spinning a bar known as a crankshaft, effectively converting linear motion into a rotary motion that can drive the wheels.

I'm like the crankshaft of this team.

When it spending at over 8000 RPM, any imperfections will cause the crankshaft to become unbalanced and create potentially distractive vibrations through the entire engine.

So the crankshaft spins, spins a supercharger, forces air.

The more fuel in the chamber, the more powerful the combustion, making the crankshaft rotate faster.

If you make the stroke of the crankshaft shorter, you're going to lose torque, but you'll be able to gain RPM.

They are piston, crankshaft and connecting rod.

The engine must perform constant, controlled explosions with pistons, crankshafts, oil filters, alternators, fans, distributors, valves, coils, and cylinders among the many pieces of machinery needed for the work.
