Last night, we showed you how the Swinomish Tribe is trying to plan ahead and adapt to faster glacial snowmelts, higher stream temperatures, and changes in fishing grounds.
The Rocky Mountains in general act as sort of the high water tower of North America, as many of the continent's greatest rivers originate from the vast snowmelt taking place high up within them.
So mosquitoes are found in an incredibly wide range of environments, from coastal rock pools to snowmelt streams in our Alpine regions, from polluted drains to pristine wetlands and almost every puddle of water in between.
