The sixteen-year-old schoolgirl from South Africa has won the grand prize at Google Science Fair for making a super absorbent material from orange peels.
They're already dried out, so honey's water-sucking properties don't kill them, and because the spores aren't growing, they aren't affected by the acidity or the antibiotic compounds.
In the last 50 or so years, there have been lots of innovations in toilet paper technology, leading to the ultra soft, absorbent, and strong stuff around today.
