When one irritated sea monster starts crunching a boat and its occupants like a peppermint stick directly in front of the camera, it is difficult to keep the Shivers out of your spine.
" He trampled on you and kicked you, and dashed you on the ground, " I whispered. " And his mouth watered to tear you with his teeth; because he's only half a man--not so much."
Sometimes it was the bone that broke, sometimes his teeth. Then he crushed the bones between the rocks. He pounded them into tiny pieces, and ate them.
So it munched down and crunched the flesh and the organs and the bones and swallowed all of it, and the bones made it out, in digested form, out the other end of the T. Rex.
