No longer will the fool be called noble nor the scoundrel be highly respected.

愚顽人不再称为高明，吝啬人不再称为。

Remember how the enemy has mocked you, Lord, how foolish people have reviled your name.

耶和华啊，仇敌辱骂，愚顽民亵渎了的名，求记念这事。

Eloquent lips are unsuited to a godless fool— how much worse lying lips to a ruler!

愚顽人说美言本不相宜，何况君王说谎话呢？

Take notice, you senseless ones among the people; you fools, when will you become wise?

们民间的畜类人当思想，们愚顽人到几时才有智慧呢？

Rise up, O God, and defend your cause; remember how fools mock you all day long.

神啊，求起来，为自己申诉，要记念愚顽人怎样终日辱骂。

To have a fool for a child brings grief; there is no joy for the parent of a godless fool.

生愚昧子的，必自愁苦，愚顽人的父毫无喜。

For fools speak folly, their hearts are bent on evil: They practice ungodliness and spread error concerning the Lord; the hungry they leave empty and from the thirsty they withhold water.

因为愚顽人必说愚顽话，心里想作罪孽，惯行亵渎的事，说错谬的话攻击耶和华，使饥饿的人无食可吃，使口渴的人无水可喝。

" My people are fools; they do not know me. They are senseless children; they have no understanding. They are skilled in doing evil; they know not how to do good" .

耶和华说：" 我的百姓愚顽，不认识我，他们是愚昧无知的儿女，有智慧行恶，没有知识行善。"

Like a partridge that hatches eggs it did not lay are those who gain riches by unjust means. When their lives are half gone, their riches will desert them, and in the end they will prove to be fools.

那不按正道得财的，好像鹧鸪抱不是自己下的蛋；到了中年，那财都必离开他，他终久成为愚顽人。

Please pay no attention, my lord, to that wicked man Nabal. He is just like his name—his name means Fool, and folly goes with him. And as for me, your servant, I did not see the men my lord sent.

我主不要理这坏人拿八，他的性情与他的名相称，他名叫拿八（就是" 愚顽" 的意思），他为人果然愚顽。但我主所打发的仆人，婢女并没有看见。
