It's, life is really full of uncertainty.
I never imagined that I will get the medal from NYU Shanghai.
And actually you know that,there are a lot of rumors about me, and one of the rumors is that I graduated from United States university, actually I didn't.
I came from a very remote, small town in southeast China.
I wish that the chancellor here did not invite me just by the rumors.
Actually Professor and Chancellor Tong gave me the invitation several months ago.
At the very first, I did not accept the invitation because I not so sure that I wil be the right person to stand here to give the graduation speech.
And one small story I want to tell you today is that one small thing changed my idea about accept or not.
It's that one day, Professor Tong came to my office, and he took a portrait of me in NYU graduate school clothes.
The portrait was painted by one of the graduate student.
