Hello from the Valley of Fire.
I've taken a trip to Las Vegas with my Delta SkyMiles Platinum American Express card to visit one of my photography bucket list destinations, the Valley of Fire.
The Valley of Fire sits about an hour outside of Las Vegas and it's known for its red sandstone formations.
And there's nothing like spring in the southwest.
The desert is one of my favorite regions to get outside but I've never explored the areas around Las Vegas so that's what I'm doing this week.
So right now it's just after sunrise and I've been capturing this view of the park road rolling and winding through the sandstone.
It's one of the more iconic views in the park.
As you can see, this park is nice to even just drive through because these are the views you get on the side of the road.
This is a shot where I'm going to be using a longer focal length to really compress that background.
Bring that road closer.
