We're actually shooting our first ever series in Shanghai right now.
To answer your question, I was born in Shanghai and we moved to Hong Kong when I was five.
Being a Shanghainese fish out of water in Cantonese Hong Kong, there wasn't much for kids to do in my neighborhood when I grew up.
We live in an area called Tsim Sha Tsui, which was a tourist area.
There were many cinemas around.
And my mother liked film, so she brought me there almost every day.
So at least for two hours, we could leave behind where we were.
