Hi, my name is Becky-Jo and today I am here with our gorgeous little wallaby joeys.

This here is Harvey and he is a swamp wallaby joey.

and behind me, that over there is Daniel and he's a little redneck wallaby.

So little Daniel behind me.

He was actually an orphan, so unfortunately, his mom, she was actually killed out in the wild and he came into the wildlife hospital and he's being hand raised.

Little Harvey here, on the other hand, he was actually born here at the zoo and his mom decided that she didn't want to feed him milk anymore and she actually just left him on his own and we found him.

So we've been taking him home and he's been getting round the clock feeds from our keepers here at the zoo.

Little Harvey here now, we're slowly introducing different types of brows for him, so different types of leaves for him to eat and he's also eating grass and we're also slowly introducing some macropod pellets like the big wallabies have.

But when he hits about two and a half kilos, we'll actually start to decrease his milk and start weaning him off it.

So Wallaby Joeys, they'll actually stay in their mums pouch up until about the seven month mark, around there.
