Sometimes when we're going about our lives, we're exercising, hanging out with friends, or walking our cats.
Someone around us will do something that seems to have absolutely no explanation.
What can I say?
The world is an unpredictable place full of unpredictable people, and we can never completely accurately predict human behavior.
But we can use cues and established principles to do our best to predict the world and all its wacky people and try to understand human behavior.
Specifically, by studying psychology, which is the study of the mind and its functions and how they influence human behavior.
So thanks to the field of psychology; people can both understand and improve their behavior in order to become the best versions of themselves and maybe even become the people our pets want us to be.
Psychology can be applied to a wide variety of settings and workplaces where it can help us in countless ways; like learning to understand complicated thoughts and emotions productively, improving our critical thinking skills, or researching how we think or process emotions.
It's a window into human behavior and can help us grow both as individuals and as a society.
