Hi.
This is Matt Baker.
The United States has a new President.
Well, sort of.
For only the second time in US history, a previous President is President once again.
I therefore thought it would be a good time to update my Timeline of US History chart.
But not only have I added the 47th President, I've actually done a complete re-design of the poster, with the help of fellow YouTuber Mr. Beat, whose specialty is US history.
If you want to get a copy of the new poster, which is available in two sizes, just head over to UsefulCharts.com or use the link in the description or pinned comment.
So, in today's video, I'm going to go through the entire chart in detail and basically cover the entire history of the United States, showing you how its territory changed over time to become what it is today.
[Intro] Let's start here at the bottom with the map of the US as it exists today.
