Five triterpenoids were isolated and their structures were identified to be cauloside C (1),akebiasaponin D (2),akebiasaponin F (3),ursolic acid (4) and hederagenin (5).

It is noticed that oleanane triterpenoidal saponins are characteristic constituents of this family and have taxonomic significance.

结表明齐墩烷型三萜甙作为木通科的特征化学成分在该科的系统分类中具有一定的意义。
