Welcome to Google.
Today I'm excited to introduce Alan Downey to Google.
He's a prolific author.
A professor and an amazing guy.
Alan worked here at Google from 2009 to 2010. And I see some people out in the audience who probably remember him from that time.
He helped us analyze network performance.
And we've been in touch ever since.
Since then, he's been teaching, designing curriculum, and writing.
He's also been using statistics and large data sets to answer interesting questions, dispel myths, and teach us how to properly analyze data.
I always look forward to talking with Alan and reading his blog posts.
