October 3 Read it! Blake bought several things at the hardware store. He got paint for his walls.

The store sells wood, so he bought some. He might be able to build something with it. He will need a repairman for some things, though. There are cracks in his ceiling.

Blake can't repair those. Conversation A Hey, Blake. Where is Jim? Jim is still at work.

He will come over later to help me. Great! What do we need to find first? I need to find some nails. I have a hammer at home.

That's easy. What else? I need paint. The walls in my apartment look really old and dirty. Some fresh paint will really help.

Conversation B Oh, look! They sell wood here. Maybe I can build something. What would you build?

A small table. Then I can paint it! I'll get a few pieces. Do you need anything else? There are some cracks in my ceiling.

But I might not be able to fix those. Yeah. You might need a repairman. Conversation C Mark, how did your trip to the hardware store go?

It went well. Blake bought a lot of things. Can he repair everything in his apartment? Or will he need help?

He might need a repairman. I know a good repairman. I can give Blake his number. Blake would really like that!
