6 So this is a business agreement. ‘I just wanted to say well done on clinching that deal!clinch that deal：
5这是一个习语，意思是达成交易。
6 If sb clinch a deal, he or she succeeds in reaching an agreement， or a proposal or offer.如果某人clinch a deal,说明TA成功的达成了某项交易，或提议，或应聘成功了。
5这个习语通常比较口语化，适合私下聊天时使用。

6 I just wanted to say well done on sth/ doing sth.
5 这里需要注意下介词使用的是on
6 ‘well done on‘，例如：

6 So now the man is saying the woman is professional at her job being a manager. He is complimenting the woman’s professional skills.（男人夸赞女人的职业专业度）

6 You are a great + n.
比较简单，但尤其在夸某人很称职，很专业的时候挺常用。
5 如果你身边有人做事很棒，请不要吝啬你的赞美哦！
6 例如:
Your are a great class leader.
你是个非常棒的班长。
You are a great friend.
你是个非常棒的朋友。
Man: Have you cut your hair?

6 In this conversation the woman told the man she paid a visit to the hairdresser on the high street. What is The High Street exactly?
5 High Street其实是英国专有名词，指有很多主要店铺的地方，比如药房，理发店，超市都在High street，这里就好比一个小城镇里的商业区。
6 和英国的The High street 对应的是美国的Main street。在大城市，几乎每个街区或者住宅小区都有自己的High street。
5但是在小乡村里，the high street可能只有一个邮筒，一个付费电话，一个小便利店，不过至少，the High street通常都会有一个酒吧。

5 什么和什么很搭。
6 Your hairstyle looks great with the outfit.

5对于蛮在意自己穿搭的朋友来说，咱夸人的方式还可以像下面这样。

Man: Oh yeah. Very … fashionable.

Woman: Oh, it’s just an old thing.

6 Here is the word ‘fashionable’，潮流的，时尚的。
5 夸人第五式：夸发型、夸衣服、夸小配件（gadget），
6 比如apple watch,eye-glasses,belt,purse，万能词汇就是fashionable, or cool.
5 夸人第六式:
6 You’ve got a great sense of style. （你品味真好）
5 如果你身边有品位很好的外国朋友，
6 Just tell them they are cool and fashionable, and they have got a great sense of style. I can’t think of any reason that they won’t be happy.
Woman: Thank you, you too.
Man: Thank you.
5如果你被夸了，也可以用you too来反夸一下夸奖你的人哦！
6 小五，you are a lovely girl.
5 Thanks, you too.
6 Oh, thank you for saying that.
Man: Nice perfume, too. Is that Dream?
你的香水也不错，是Dream吗（香水品牌）？
Woman: Well, yes it is, actually.

5 因为香水一般属于比较亲密的话题，因此从这里开始我们明显就能感觉到男人在没话找话了。
6 夸人香水好闻，nice perfume，you wear it well. wear the perfume是固定的使用（喷了）香水的搭配。Actually the woman feel a little bit odd, so she says: I’m flattered.
5 香水味你也注意到了，真是受宠若惊，不过，你哪位?
Woman: Listen, do you want something?
听着，你是不是有所企图？
Man: No. I’m just being polite, you know.
不，我只是客气一下。
Woman: Hmmm.

6 当你和某人不熟的时候，单方面夸赞 ,unreciprocated compliment might make people feel that you are up to no good.

6 I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.Now let’s look back. The woman says: Do you want something? 男人略带尴尬的回应是No, I’m just being polite.
5 这句话算得上一个比较得体，不会被误会的回应。如果你只是出于好意要帮助或夸赞某人而被误会，可以这样回答：
